Getting Started with Voketa

Voketa is a LinkedIn authority-building system. Unlike scheduling tools, it is built around how LinkedIn's algorithm classifies expertise and surfaces professionals in search results. The setup process takes about 15 minutes and the results compound over 90 days.

1

Create Your Account

Sign up with Google or LinkedIn. Your Basic plan starts immediately, no credit card required. You get 5 AI-generated posts per month and 2 expertise pillars.

2

Set Your Target Role and Career Goals

Tell Voketa whether you are building authority as a job seeker, consultant, executive, or founder. This shapes the pillar suggestions and content strategy the AI generates for you.

3

Define Your Expertise Pillars

Pillars are the 2–3 topic areas you want LinkedIn's algorithm to associate with your name. Examples: Product Management + AI Strategy + Career Coaching. Voketa will suggest pillars based on your profile, and you can accept, modify, or create your own.

4

Optimize Your Profile

Run the Profile Alignment Analyzer to score your headline, about section, and skills against your pillars. Fix the gaps Voketa identifies before you start posting. Alignment between your profile and content is critical for algorithmic classification.

5

Generate and Post Your First Content

Use the AI Content Studio to generate your first on-pillar posts. Voketa will show you a save-potential score and clarity score before you publish. Aim for posts that score 70+ on save potential.

The 90-Day Authority System: How It Works

LinkedIn's algorithm needs approximately 90 days of consistent, on-topic posting in a specific area before it classifies you as a credible expert in that domain. This classification is what drives organic visibility: your content appears in topical feeds, recruiters find you through search, and your profile views compound over time.

Voketa tracks your 90-day progression in each expertise pillar and shows you exactly where you are in the classification timeline: Unclassified → Emerging → Developing → Established. Each status unlocks new levels of organic reach.

Days 0–30

Unclassified

Building the signal. Post consistently.

Days 30–60

Emerging

Algorithm starting to associate you with this topic.

Days 60–80

Developing

Profile views begin to increase.

Day 90+

Established

LinkedIn surfaces you in expert searches.

Strategic Pillars

How many pillars should I have?

Two to three pillars is optimal. One pillar is too narrow: you run out of content ideas quickly. Four or more pillars dilutes your consistency signal to LinkedIn's algorithm. The 90-day classification window works best when the algorithm sees consistent, focused posting in 2–3 topic areas.

What makes a good pillar?

A strong pillar is specific enough to be recognizable but broad enough to sustain 90+ days of content. 'Marketing' is too broad. 'B2B SaaS Marketing' is good. 'LinkedIn Ads for SaaS' is excellent: clear, specific, and searchable by the right people. Your pillars should align with what your target audience (recruiters, clients, employers) would search for on LinkedIn.

Can I change my pillars later?

Yes, but with a trade-off: changing a pillar resets your 90-day classification clock for that topic. If you are at Day 60 in building 'Product Management' authority and you switch it to 'UX Research', you start the 90-day window over. Make pillar choices carefully before posting. Voketa will warn you before any change that resets your progress.

How do I know if my pillars are working?

Voketa tracks your 90-day on-topic posting percentage for each pillar and shows your classification status: Unclassified → Emerging → Developing → Established. You will also see your profile views trend upward as your classification improves. Most users see measurable increases in profile views within 4–6 weeks of consistent on-pillar posting.

AI Content Generation

How does the AI know my writing style?

Voketa's Voice Authenticity system analyzes your past LinkedIn posts (if you connect your profile) or learns from posts you write and rate. Over time, the AI adapts to your sentence length preferences, whether you use bullet points or prose, your typical hooks, and your vocabulary. The more you use it, the more it sounds like you.

What types of posts can Voketa generate?

Voketa generates six post types: Framework posts (teach a system or process), Story posts (personal experience with lesson), Data posts (insight from a statistic or trend), Contrarian posts (challenge a common belief), Case study posts (before/after transformation), and List posts (tactical tips). Each type is optimized for different engagement patterns on LinkedIn.

What is the save-potential score?

The save-potential score (0–100) estimates how likely a post is to be saved by readers. On LinkedIn, saves count five times more than likes in the algorithm's engagement weighting (per LinkedIn's engagement data). A saved post signals 'I want to reference this again', which the algorithm treats as a strong quality signal. Aim for posts scoring 70+ before publishing. Posts under 50 should be revised.

How many posts should I generate per week?

Three to four posts per week is the sweet spot for LinkedIn authority building. Fewer than three posts per week gives the algorithm insufficient signal. More than five posts per week risks content dilution: quality drops and engagement per post decreases. Voketa's Smart Cadence Guidance shows your optimal posting windows (typically Tuesday–Thursday, 10am–12pm in your audience's time zone).

Profile Analysis

How does the Profile Alignment Analyzer work?

The analyzer scans your LinkedIn headline, about section, skills, and experience descriptions and scores each section for semantic alignment with your expertise pillars. A headline that says 'Product Manager' when your pillar is 'AI Product Strategy' scores lower than one that says 'AI Product Leader | Building Intelligent Products at Scale'. The analyzer identifies exactly which sections are weakest and gives specific rewrite suggestions.

How often should I re-run the profile analysis?

Re-run it any time you update your profile or every 30 days as a check-in. Profile alignment is not a one-time fix. As your pillars refine and your content strategy evolves, your profile should evolve too. Voketa tracks your alignment score over time so you can see improvement.

What is a good profile alignment score?

Scores above 75 are strong. 50–75 means your profile partially supports your pillar strategy but has clear gaps. Below 50 means your profile is actively working against your content: recruiters and LinkedIn's algorithm are getting conflicting signals. Fix anything below 75 before running your first 90-day content sprint.

Analytics and Tracking

What analytics does Voketa track?

Voketa tracks: post-level metrics (impressions, engagement rate, saves, comments broken down by quality), pillar-level metrics (90-day consistency score, on-topic post percentage, classification status), and profile metrics (alignment score per section, profile view trend). The dashboard focuses on metrics that correlate with long-term authority, not vanity metrics like raw follower count.

What is the comment quality score?

Voketa distinguishes between substantive comments (50+ characters, indicating genuine engagement) and surface comments ('Great post!', emoji-only). Substantive comments count four times more in LinkedIn's engagement algorithm than surface comments (per LinkedIn's engagement data). Your comment quality score tracks the ratio of substantive to surface comments you receive, which is a leading indicator of content quality and algorithm favor.

How do I interpret my 90-day classification score?

Your classification score shows how LinkedIn is likely categorizing your expertise based on your posting behavior. Unclassified (0–25%): not enough consistent signal yet. Emerging (25–50%): algorithm is beginning to associate you with this topic. Developing (50–75%): classification is building, and you should see profile view increases. Established (75–100%): LinkedIn actively surfaces you in topic searches and related content feeds.

Billing and Plans

What is included in the free Basic plan?

The Basic plan includes: 5 AI-generated posts per month, 2 expertise pillars, profile alignment analysis (3 runs/month), basic analytics dashboard, and save-potential scoring. It is designed to let you experience the strategy system before committing to a paid plan.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You can cancel from the Settings → Subscription page at any time. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. There are no prorated refunds, but you will not be charged again after cancellation.

What happens to my content if I downgrade to Basic?

Your posts, pillar settings, and profile analyses are retained. If you downgrade from Starter or Pro to Basic, you lose access to features above the Basic tier (unlimited posts, advanced analytics, etc.) but your data remains intact. If you re-upgrade, everything is exactly as you left it.

Troubleshooting

My profile views aren't increasing after 6 weeks of posting. What's wrong?

The most common cause is topic inconsistency: posting across too many unrelated topics. Check your 90-day on-topic percentage in your pillar analytics. If it's below 70%, your content is too scattered for algorithmic classification. Second most common: profile misalignment. Run the Profile Alignment Analyzer and fix any sections scoring below 75.

The AI-generated posts don't sound like me. How do I fix this?

Go to Settings → Voice Profile and add more examples of your writing. The more posts you rate (thumbs up/down) in the Content Studio, the faster the voice model adapts. For a faster calibration, paste 3–5 of your best existing LinkedIn posts into the Voice Profile samples section.

I can't connect my LinkedIn profile for analysis. What should I do?

Make sure you are logged into LinkedIn in the same browser before connecting. If the connection fails, try clearing your browser cache and reconnecting. If issues persist, email support@voketa.com. Profile connection issues are often resolved within a few hours.
